Keep liquids away from all electrical equipment. If liquidenters the unit, stop the operation of the equipmentimmediately and contact Olympus. Do not prepare, inspect or use this equipment with wethands.• Never use this instrument in the presence of flammablesubstances or in an environment with a high concentration ofoxygen, and keep all flammable gases and liquids away fromthis instrument while it is being used. Explosion or fire mayresult because this instrument is not explosion-proofconstruction.• This instrument produces significant heat due to the highintensity light required for endoscopic procedures. If the distalend of an endoscope and/or the disconnected end of a lightguide cable touches operating room drapes or otherflammable materials, fire may result. Never place the distal end of an illuminated endoscope orlight guide cable on an operating room drape or otherflammable material.
