The shutter stays open while the shutterbutton is pressed and held.The maximum time that the shutter canremain open is 8 minutes. This is possibleonly when [ISO] (p. 31) is set to [64].Smoothing out skin tone andtexture (I mode)The camera finds a person’s face and gives theskin a smooth, translucent look for taking thepicture.1 Set the mode dial to I.12M4INN ORMI mode indicator2 Point the camera toward thesubject. Check the frame appearingaround the face detected by thecamera, and then press the shutterbutton to take the picture.The unedited image and edited image are bothsaved.If the image cannot be retouched, only theunedited image is saved.The frame may not appear or may takesome time to appear for some subjects.
