Line up the alignment marks andplace the battery onto the dock onthe charger.2. Slide forward in the direction of thearrow.3. During charging, the charging lampwill be lit.When charging is completed, an in-ternal electronic switch will auto-matically be triggered to preventovercharging.• Charging will not start if the batterypack is warm (for example, imme-diately after heavy-duty operation).The orange standby lamp will beflashing until the battery coolsdown.Charging will then begin automat-ically.4. The charge lamp (green) will flashslowly once the battery is approxi-mately 80% charged.5. When charging is completed, the charg-ing lamp in green color will turn off.6. If the temperature of the batter pack is0°C or less, charging takes longer tofully charge the battery pack than thestandard charging time.Even when the battery is fully charged, itwill have approximately 50% of thepower of a fully charged battery at nor-mal operating temperature.7. Consult an authorized dealer if thecharging lamp (green) does not turnoff.8. If a fully charged battery pack is in-serted into the charger again, thecharging lamp lights up.
