14.7 Rewrite Function During RUN14.7.1 Operation of Rewrite During RUNHow operation of rewrite during RUNRewriting programs can be executed even in RUN mode. When a rewrite is attempted during RUN, thetool service time is temporarily extended, program rewriting is performed, and operation is resumedwithout the need to change the mode. For this reason, the time of the scan during the RUN rewriteextends from several ms to several hundreds of ms.Operation during rewrite1. External output (Y) is held.2. External input (X) is ignored.3. The timer (T) stops the clock.4. Rise and fall changes in the inputs of differential instructions (DF), counter instructions (CT), andleft/right shift registers are ignored.5. Interrupt functions are stopped.6. Internal clock relays (special internal relays) are also stopped.7. Pulse output is stopped during the rewrite.Set values for timer/counter instructionsAll set values specified with decimal constants (K) in timer and counter instructions are preset in thecorresponding set value areas (SV). Values in the elapsed value area (EV) do not change.Operation of rewrite during RUN completed flagThe rewrite during RUN completed flag (R9034) is a special internal relay that goes on for only the firstscan following the completion of rewriting in the RUN mode. It can be used instead of the initial pulserelay following a change in the program.Phone: 800.894.0412 - Fax: 888.723.4773 - Web: www.clrwtr.com - Email: info@clrwtr.com
