However, it is possible that the heads maybecome clogged due to dust in the air, playing damaged tapes,long term use, etc. If “NEED HEAD CLEANING” appears for5 seconds in the LCD monitor, the heads may require cleaning.(b) Cleaning the Heads: It is recommended that head cleaningbe performed by a qualified service technician. Please contactyour nearest Panasonic Servicenter. An alternate solution is toobtain a head cleaning cassette. Please use Panasoniccleaning cassette (AY-DVMCLC). Be sure to follow thecleaning instructions carefully.
