All components of a VMUnit must be contained in the same cabinet.* You can install one VM Unit per cabinet. A DBS 576 phone system can use amaximum of four VM Units, even in a 6-cabinet configuration.* To avoid heat damage to the HDD, don’t install any VM Unit into the upper(top) expansion cabinet.• If you are also installing ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) Units, install the VMUnit(s) first, using up the lowest cabinets, then install the ACD in the cabinet(s) abovethem.* The ACD Unit also needs FS11, which is why it can’t be installed in the samecabinet as a VM Unit.* A maximum of two ACD Units, plus a maximum of four VM Units, can beinstalled in a phone system. +! !+#, +#- ! % &./ (CAB-96 shown)
