4RQT7467Getting startedUseful featuresThis DVD Video recorder records high quality images to rapid random access capable HDD (Hard disk drive) and DVD-RAM. This hasresulted in many new features that out perform older tape formats. The following information summarizes a few of these features.Instant recordingYou no longer need to search for empty disc space. Bypressing the recording button, the unit finds availablerecording space and begins recording right away. There is noneed to worry about overwriting already recorded content.HDD recordingYou can keep on recording your favorite programmes to aninternal HDD that is able to record up to 284 hours [EP (8Hour) mode].You can also high speed transfer (dub) your favoriteprogrammes to DVD-RAM or DVD-R and create a backupdisc.SD/PC card slot, DV input terminalThis unit is equipped with interfaces that allow networkingwith digital equipment.≥The SD/PC card slot of this unit lets you transfer (dub) digitalcamera photographs from a card to DVD-RAM for easy storagewithout using a computer.≥The DV automatic recording function of this unit lets you easilytransfer (dub) digital images to the HDD by connecting only asingle DV cable.Instant playThere is no need to rewind or search forward.
