Data may be lost If the batterypower is lost while transferring data.≥G.726 may not recognize memory card files notcreated by Palmcorder.≥Do not delete the folders in memory card such aspicture folder, DPOF folder, title folder etc. Memorycard may not be recognized if folders are deleted.≥When the Palmcorder is switched to the CardPlayback Mode while it is connected to thepersonal computer, “PC ACCESSING” isdisplayed on the Palmcorder and the operationmode of the Palmcorder cannot be switched. Inthis case, disconnect the USB Connection Cable.Switch the operation mode of the Palmcorder andreconnect the Cable.≥If the Palmcorder is connected in the CardPlayback Mode, the [Removable disc] iconrepresenting the Memory Card drive is displayedin [My Computer].≥When the VCR Mode of the Palmcorder isswitched to the Card Playback Mode, a warningmessage may be displayed. You may simplyignore it.≥When you are using Windows XP or Windows2000, you may install or uninstall this softwareafter logging ON by setting the user name toAdministrator or to a user name having equivalentauthority.≥If you use Windows 98SE/Me, the message, “Fileis not found” may be displayed when thePalmcorder is connected for the first time. Enterthe following paths to complete the connection: Ifthe message “MTDV98M1.pdr is not found” isdisplayed, enter “C:/WINDOWS/system/IOSUBSYS”. If the message “MTDV98M1.sys isnot found” is displayed, enter “C:/WINDOWS/system32/DRIVERS”.(The paths will differ depending on theenvironment of your personal computer.)≥When the Palmcorder is connected to the personalcomputer on Windows 2000, these screensdescribed above may not be displayed.≥If you use Windows 2000 and the Palmcorder isnot recognized by the personal computer when theUSB Driver is installed, update the USB Driver.≥If you install the USB Driver while the USBConnecting Cable is being connected, or if youdon’t follow these Operating Instructions, thePalmcorder will not be recognized correctly.
