Chapter 7Service Provider Features 57Forwarding a Text Message1 With the message selected or displayed, press (OPTION).2 Scroll to Forward and press (OK).• The Compose screen appears with a check mark next to Message,indicating that the message field is completed.3 Press (SELECT).4 Go to step 5 in “Entering the Send To Information” on page 54.Locking a Text MessageYou can lock a message so that it will not be overwritten by anotherincoming message when your inbox is full.1 With the message selected or displayed, press (OPTION).2 Scroll to Lock/Unlock and press (OK).• Message Locked is shown on the display and the icon appearsnext to the message in the Inbox list.Deleting a Text MessageNote: To delete a locked message in the Inbox, you must use thefollowing steps. Locked messages will not be deleted byselecting Delete All from the Text Message menu.1 With the message selected or displayed, press (OPTION).2 Scroll to Delete, and press (OK).3 Press (YES) to delete the message.Calling Back a Text MessageWhen the text of a message contains a telephone number, you can callthat number without having to press the keys yourself.1 With the message displayed, press (OPTION).2 Scroll to Call Back, and press (OK).• Any numbers contained in the message are listed.3 Scroll to the phone number you want to call back.4 Press (OPTION) and then select Prefix to add a prefix to thephone number, or select Save to save the number in the Phonebookas a home, work, cell, or other phone number.ORPress (SEND) to place the call.Adding the Sender to your Phonebook1 With the message displayed, press (OPTION).2 Scroll to Add Sender and press (OK).• A blank Phonebook listing is displayed. I f an email address is includedin the message, it is automatically inserted in the listing.3 Add or edit additional Phonebook fields as described in “Creating aPhonebook Entry” on page 30.4 When you are finished, press (FINISH).Note: If a phone number is displayed after From: in an Inboxmessage, pressing calls the displayed number.
