Pinching or snaggingcauses rapid stalling of the rotatingaccessory which in turn causesthe uncontrolled power tool to beforced in the direction opposite of theaccessory’s rotation at the point of thebinding. For example, if an abrasive wheel issnagged or pinched by the workpiece, the edge of the wheel that is enteringinto the pinch point can dig into thesurface of the material causing thewheel to climb out or kick out. Thewheel may either jump toward oraway from the operator, depending ondirection of the wheel’s movement atthe point of pinching. Always useauxiliary handle, if provided, formaximum control over kickbackor torque reaction during start-up.The operator can control torquereactions or kickback forces, if properprecautions are taken.2) Never place your hand near therotating accessory. Accessory maykickback over your hand.3) Do not position your body in thearea where power tool will moveif kickback occurs.
