24Troubleshooting■ DisplayThe screen isdisordered.● Changing the number of display colors and resolution may affect thescreen. Restart the computer.● Connecting/disconnecting an external display may affect the screen.Restart the computer.During Simultaneousdisplay, one of thescreens becomesdisordered.● When using the Extended Desktop, use the same display colors for theexternal display as those used by the LCD.● If you continue to experience problems, try changing the display.Touch and hold the desktop, and then touch [Graphics Properties] -[Display].● Simultaneous display cannot be used until Windows startup iscomplete (during Setup Utility, etc.).The external displaydoes not work normally.● If the external display does not support the power saving function, itmay not work normally when the computer enters the power savingmode. Turn off the external display.Cannot rotate thedisplay.● The application program currently running may not support the imagerotation. Quit the program, and then try to rotate the image. This canameliorate the status.● When the automatic rotation is off, screen display does not rotateautomatically.■ ScreenThe pointer does notwork.● When using the external mouse, connect it correctly.● Restart the computer using the external keyboard/mouse.● If the computer does not respond to external keyboard/mousecommands, read “No response” (è page 25).Cannot display “Charm”or difficult to display“Charm”.● Delete the calibration data.Open the Control Panel, and then touch [Hardware and Sound] -[Tablet PC Settings].Touch [Reset…] and follow the on-screen instructions.The touchscreen doesnot work properly.● Make sure that the grounding of the AC plug is connected properly.If a device that emits strong radio waves near this product, should bekept away.● Perform the screen calibration (è Reference Manual “Screen InputOperation”).Want to disable touchoperation.● Using the following application software disables touchscreen operation.Flick from the middle of the Start screen to the top.Touch [Touch Screen Switch Utility] under “Panasonic”.Follow the instructions on the screen.Troubleshooting (Basic)
