PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTIONR The repeatercannot beregistered in EasyRegistration mode.(The process keepsrepeatingautomatically.)R The CS is out of range. R Move the repeater closer to the CS.R The CS is not turned on. R Confirm that the CS is on.R The repeatercannot beregistered inManualRegistration mode.(The process keepsrepeatingautomatically.)R The destination repeater isnot turned on.R Confirm that the destination repeater is on.R The selected ID does notmatch the ID of thedestination repeater.R Follow the procedure below to change theselected ID.1. Check the ID of the destinationrepeater in ID Confirmation mode (referto "ID Confirmation/Verification ToneMode").2. Enter Manual Registration mode bypressing and holding down thePROGRAM button of the repeater for 5seconds while the repeater’s STATUSindicator is flashing red, and releasing it.3. Select the ID that matches thedestination repeater in manualregistration again (refer to "ManualRegistration").R The repeater’sSTATUS indicatorand RSSI/IDindicator flashgreen and redalternately (alarmindication).R The ID of the repeater is thesame as the ID of anotherrepeater (including cascadeconfiguration repeaters)that is registered to thesame CS.R Follow the procedure below to change theID of the repeater.1. Press the PROGRAM button to cancelthe alarm indication of the repeater.The repeater will enter ID Confirmationmode.2. Check the IDs of the repeater and theother repeater that is registered to thesame CS, in ID Confirmation mode(refer to "ID Confirmation/VerificationTone Mode").3. Enter ID Modification mode by pressingand holding down the PROGRAMbutton of the repeater for 5 secondsand releasing it.4. Change the ID of the repeater so asnot to overlap with the ID of the otherrepeater in ID Modification mode (referto "ID Modification").R The PS is beeping. R The verification tone isturned on.R Turn the verification tone off (refer to "IDConfirmation/Verification Tone Mode").R Poor audio quality. R The CS is out of range.
