TroubleshootingProblem Cause/solutionThe repeater does not work. R When the indicators do not turn on, the AC adaptor is notconnected properly. Check the connections.R When the indicators do not turn green, move the repeatercloser to the base unit.R Registration may have been canceled.Deregister the repeater, then re-register.Deregister1 Unplug the AC adaptor, then press and hold thePROGRAM button.2 While pressing and holding the PROGRAM button,re-connect the AC adaptor.3 Keep pressing and holding the PROGRAM button forabout 10 seconds until the STATUS indicator stopsflashing and RSSI/ID indicator turns red. Then releasethe PROGRAM button.R The STATUS indicator and the RSSI/ID indicator turnamber for about 2 seconds and the STATUS indicatorflashes red again.R If the STATUS indicator flashes green after releasing thePROGRAM button, deregistration failed. Deregister therepeater again.Re-registerUnplug the AC adaptor, then perform from step 2 of“Installation/Registering the Repeater”.While talking using the handset, soundcuts in and out.R The handset is out of range. Move the handset closer tothe repeater.A repeating tone is heard while talkingusing the handset.orThe STATUS indicator is amber andthe RSSI/ID indicator flashes green.R The PROGRAM button was pressed.
