Forexample, if you must dial "9" before dialing an outsidephone number, you probably wait (pause) after dialing"9" until you hear a dial tone.By pressing the [REDIAL/PAUSE] button when dialing,the unit will store the dialing pause along with the phonenumber in the redial list. If you make a call from theredial list later, the unit will dial the number wait for thepre-programmed number of seconds (default: 3 s; seepage 54) for each dialing pause you entered.Example:1.
