General FeaturesFeatures Guide 49Call Forwarding — No AnswerDescriptionCalls to your extension are forwarded to another extension if you do not answer the call in apre-determined time.Conditions• Types of calls which are forwarded by this function are:Outside calls – Direct In Lines (DIL) 1:1; Direct Inward SystemAccess (DISA)*1 ; Intercept RoutingIntercom calls – Extension; Transfer• This function operates if an incoming call is not answered in a specific period of time.Therefore, this function also applies if your extension is busy and cannot answer theincoming call within the time.• There can only be one stage of Call Forwarding if a call is forwarded to a station which isalso in Call Forwarding. In this case, Station Hunting is activated for the forwarded call.• Although calls are forwarded, Message Waiting is not. The MESSAGE button indicator islit on the originally called extension.• If an extension in Call Forwarding is also in a Hunt group, a call directed to the extensionis forwarded. Station Hunting still applies for calls directed to other extensions in the Huntgroup.• Both the Call Forwarding and Do Not Disturb (DND) functions can be set at the same time,but cannot work at the same time.• Pressing the FWD/DND button while on-hook allows the user to enable or disable the CallForwarding or DND function.
