38Special FeaturesAutomatic Security Code SettingEach time you place the handset on the base unit, the unit automatically selectsone of a million security codes. These codes help prevent the unauthorized use ofyour telephone line by another cordless telephone user.Temporary Tone Dialing(For Rotary or Pulse Service Users)Press [ ] (TONE) before entering access numbers which require tone dialing.• The dialing mode changes to tone.
