Telephone System33Using the Caller ListStoring Caller List Items in the DirectoryCallers’ names and phone numbers that are in the base unit or cordless handsetCaller List can be stored in each unit’s directory.• You cannot store Caller List items in the directory if a phone number is not displayed.Erasing Caller List ItemsTo erase a specific item1 Scroll to the desired caller by pressing [ ] or[ ].• If the number requires editing, see page 32.2 Press [ ].• To stop storing, press [ ].3 Press [ ] again.• If there is no name information for the caller, “Enter name” will be displayed.–You can enter a name by performing the following steps:(1) enter the name (p. 35), (2) press [ ], and (3) press [ ] (Save) on thebase unit or press the soft key ( ) on the cordless handset.–If a name is not required, press [ ], then press [ ] (Save) on the base unitor press the soft key ( ) on the cordless handset.• To continue storing other items, repeat from step 1.• To exit the programming mode, press [STOP] on the base unit.
