Useful Information45Call DisplayProblem Cause/solutionThe handset does notdisplay the caller’s nameand/or phone number.L You have not subscribed to Call Display service.Contact your telephone service provider tosubscribe.L If your unit is connected to any additionaltelephone equipment such as a Call Display boxor cordless telephone line jack, disconnect theunit from the equipment and plug the unitdirectly into the wall jack.L If your unit is connected to a telephone line withDSL service, we recommend connecting a noisefilter between the base unit and the telephoneline jack. Contact your DSL provider for details.L The name display service may not be availablein some areas. Contact your telephone serviceprovider for details.L Other telephone equipment may be interferingwith this unit. Disconnect the other equipmentand try again.L The caller requested not to send callerinformation (page 20).L Generally, caller information is displayed fromthe 2nd ring.I cannot dial the phonenumber edited in the callerlist.L The phone number you dialed might have anincorrectly edited pattern (for example, the longdistance “1” or the area code is missing).
