Caller ID Service29phonebook, the stored name in thephonebook is announced.L Name pronunciation may vary. Thisfeature may not pronounce all namescorrectly.L Your unit may mute one or more ringsin order to announce the caller’sinformation. Talking Caller ID takesprecedence over ringing.Note:L For users in name display serviceavailable areas:– the unit announces the Caller IDname provided by your serviceprovider/telephone company.– the unit announces the customizedphonebook name if it matches aphone number stored in thephonebook.– Caller ID service has a limit of howmany characters can be displayed.If a caller’s name is too long, thehandset may not be able to displayor announce the entire name.Group ringer tone forphonebookThis feature can help you identify who iscalling by using different ringer tones fordifferent groups of callers. When addingan entry to the phonebook, you canassign it to the desired group (page 17).When a call is received from a callerassigned to a group, the ringer youselected for that group rings after callerinformation is displayed.
