Connecting to a PC or Printer85VQT0P83Connecting to a PCIf you use Windows® 98/98SE, install theUSB driver and then connect it to thecomputer.(When using Windows Me/2000/XP, MacOS 9.x, Mac OS X, you do not have toinstall the USB driver. Refer to the separateoperating instructions about PC connectionfor the installation of the USB driver.)A: USB connection cable (supplied)B: AC adaptor (DMW-AC2; optional)1 Turn the camera on and then set[USB MODE] on the [SETUP]menu to [PC]. (P84)• If you set [USB MODE] to [PictBridge(PTP)] and then connect the camera tothe PC, messages may appear on thescreen of the PC.Select [Cancel] to close the indicationsand disconnect the camera from thePC.
