Connecting to a PC or Printer87VQT0P83Connecting to a PictBridge-compliant PrinterBy connecting the camera directly to aprinter supporting PictBridge via the USBconnection cable (supplied), you can selectthe pictures to be printed or start printingon the LCD monitor.Set the print settings such as print qualityon the printer beforehand. (P84)2 Turn on the printer.3 Connect the camera to a printervia the USB connection cable A(supplied).• Connect the USB connection cable withthe [ ] mark facing the [1] mark onthe [DIGITAL] socket.• Hold the plug C to push into or pull out.• It may take time to print some pictures.Therefore, use batteries with sufficientbattery power (P13) or the AC adaptor(DMW-AC2; optional) when you connectto a printer.• If the remaining battery power becomeslow during communication, the statusindicator blinks and the alarm beeps. Inthis case, stop the communication atonce.• Disconnect the USB connection cableafter printing.• Do not use any other USB connectioncables except the supplied one.• If the card is not inserted when thecamera is connected to a printer, you canedit or access the picture data in thebuilt-in memory. If the card is inserted, youcan edit or access the picture data in it.• You cannot switch the recording mediumbetween the built-in memory and the cardwhile the camera is connected to theprinter.
