Connecting to a PC or Printer86VQT0P83∫ Folder CompositionThe folder structure of the built-in memory,the card or MultiMediaCard is displayed asthe illustration below.1 Folder number2 File number3 JPG: picturesMOV: motion imagesFiles will be saved in each folder as follows.• When recording, up to 999 picture datacan be included in 1 folder. If the numberof picture data exceeds 999, anotherfolder will be created.• When you reset the file number or thefolder number, select [NO.RESET] in the[SETUP] menu. (P23)• If the remaining battery power isexhausted during communication, therecorded data may be damaged. Whenyou connect the camera to the PC, usebatteries with sufficient battery power(P13) or the AC adaptor (DMW-AC2;optional).• If the remaining battery power becomeslow during communication, the statusindicator blinks and the alarm beeps. Inthis case, stop the communication atonce.• While [ACCESS] is being displayed, donot disconnect the USB connection cable.• When the OS of your PC is Windows2000 and you connect the camera tothe PC with the USB connection cable,do not replace the card with thecamera connected to the PC. Theinformation in the card may bedamaged.• Do not use any other USB connectioncables except the supplied one.• For more information, refer to the separateoperating instructions about PCconnection.• Also refer to the operating instructions ofthe PC.• If the card is not inserted when thecamera is connected to a PC, you can editor access the picture data in the built-inmemory.
