32When the configuration is performed, it can be saved to memory. To do so, thecontroller must be connected to a PC or notebook and the appropriate software mustbe used (e.g. gpm-read...reading parameter settings, hpm-write...writing parametersettings back into the controller, hpm-control...remote control via PC)3.3 Additional adjustmentsAfter the system diagram is loaded, additional adjustments can be made. Theseadjustments concern necessary adjustments like the adaption of the communicationport to the settings in the heat pump(s) (basic configuration) and the parameters toadapt the controller to the heating system (heating curve, setpoints, temperaturelimitations)The following chapters will explain the menu structure of the HPM controller and therelease via the access code.3.3.1 The menu structureFrom the default display, the menu can be reached by pressing the “OK” key. Themenu structure is entered via the menu “MCR-BMS” (standing for “Measuring,Controlling, Regulation – Building Management System”). Here, all modules arelisted. From here, simply select the module in which it is desirable to look at orchange a parameter. The sections “Global”, “Interfaces”, “Configuration”, “System diagram” and“System overview” are intended primarily for technical personnel. All parameters inthese sections should be handled with care. The menu utilises the following structure:Configuration level Module library levelGlobalMCR-BMS Æ Press “OK“ Æ TimerHeat producer Heat pump 1Heat pump 2Heat pump 3Strategy circuitBuffer tankDomestic hot water circuitHeating circuits Heating circuit 1Heating circuit 2Trend Trend 1…Trend 2InterfacesConfigurationSystem DiagramSystem Overview Æ Press “-“ Æ Overview of each controller and moduleTable 1: The Menu StructureThe shaded menus can be used by any user of the system. The other menus should beaccessed only by technical personnel. They can only be accessed, after the code forthe access level 4 has been entered (finished by pressing “OK”) and by moving out ofthe menu “MCR-BMS” with the “UP” key.
