Do not touch or bring your face closeto the broken pieces.Failure to observe this will cause the user to absorbthe gas which was released when the lamp broke andwhich contains nearly the same amount of mercury asfluorescent lamps, and the broken pieces will causeinjury.If you believe that you have absorbed the gas or thatthe gas has got into your eyes or mouth, seek medicaladvice immediately.Ask your dealer about replacing the lamp unit andcheck the inside of the projector.CAUTIONS WHEN TRANSPORTINGWhen transporting the projector, the leg adjusters mustbe housed and do not hold them.When transporting, keep the projector in theprovided carrying bag with the lens cover on it.Face the lens of the projector in an upward direction•and put it gently into the carrying bag.Do not put anything other than the projector and its•accessories in the carrying bag.CAUTIONS WHEN INSTALLINGDO NOT USE UNDER THE FOLLOWINGCONDITIONS.Do not set up the projector outdoors.•The projector is designed for indoor use only.Avoid setting up in places which are subject to•vibration or shocks.If the projector is installed in a place where vibrationsare transmitted or mounted in a car or a vessel,vibrations or impacts will result in damage to theinternal parts, causing failure. Please call a specialized technician orcontact an Authorized Service Center for installation.LENS FOCUSDo not adjust the lens focus in the initial period afterswitching the projector on. The high clarity projectorlens is thermally affected by the light from the lightsource, making the focus unstable in the period justafter switching on. Please allow a warm-up time of atleast 30 minutes before adjusting the lens focus.
