45OPERATING PROCEDURESControlling Video Inputs &MonitorsOperations on the front panel can control video inputs onthe spot monitor or multiscreen monitor. On the Spot Monitor Selecting the Spot Monitor1. Press the [SPOT/MULTI] button to turn the LED in thebutton on. The spot monitor is ready to be operated.2. Follow the descriptions below for each monitoring modeon the spot monitor. Viewing a Single LiveA selected live image is displayed on the spot monitor untila new input selection is made.1. Press any numeric button from 1 - 8.The selected image appears on the monitor.2. Press another numeric button to select a new input. Viewing a Single Live SequenceThe spot monitor can display a single live sequence.A series of input images is displayed in succession on thespot monitor. One sequence can be programmed in theSPOT SEQ SETUP menu setup with an input assignmentand display duration for each step.1. Select the spot monitor.2. Press the [SEQUENCE] button to run the sequence.The LED in the [SEQUENCE] button lights up.Spot monitorWhile running, the LED of the input image presently dis-played on the monitor will illuminate in the correspond-ing numeric button.3. During the sequence, press the [SEQUENCE] button topause. The LED in the [SEQUENCE] button blinks.4. Press the [SEQUENCE] button to restart the sequence.The LED turns to a steady light.5. Press any of the numeric buttons to quit the sequenceand return to spot monitoring.Notes:• The Auto Skip function can be programmed in themenu setup to be applied to the sequence to skip anysteps where no video signal is present.• You can individually run a sequence on the spot moni-tor and on the multiscreen monitor.
