167Copy recorded imagesCopy images recorded by the recorder onto SDmemory card or external storage devices. It is recom-mended to make back-up copies on a regular basisfor unexpected situations such as malfunction of thehard disk drives. Refer to page 135 for further infor-mation about the copy function. Refer to page 172 forinformation on how to play copied images.Step 1Click the [Control] button on the top page (☞ page146) of the operation window.Step 2Click the button in the [Copy] box.The "Copy" window will be displayed.→→Step 3Specify the detailed conditions of recorded images tobe copied. Specify the information to be set as condi-tions.[Date & time range]Designate the start date & time and the end date &time of recorded images to be copied. Click the [C]button, and then designate date & time.[Camera]Select the camera you wish to copy. Mark the check-box next to the desired camera. When the checkboxfor [All] is marked, the checkboxes of all cameras canbe marked.[Copy drive]Select the SD memory card or the external storagedevice (connected to the copy port) as the copy des-tination.Mark the checkbox corresponding to either of "HDD>> SD" or "HDD>>Copy port".[Alteration detection]Determine whether or not to attach the alterationdetection code to the recorded images to be copied.When the alteration detection code is attached, it ispossible to check if the copied recorded images havebeen altered or not when playing the copied recordedimages using the viewer software. Click the [C] but-ton, and then select "On" or "Off".
