4PrecautionsDo not charge batteries other than ournickel metal hydride batteries.Failure to observe this may cause batteryfluid leakage, overheating, or explosion.To charge batteries other than our batteries,use a dedicated charger.Do not attempt to recharge, disassembleor short-circuit dry cells.An exploding battery or leaking battery fluidmay result in fire, injury and burns.Turn off the power supply when inside anaircraft.The product might interfere with operationalsafety of the aircraft.Do not attempt to disassemble or short-circuit rechargeable batteries.An exploding battery or leaking battery fluidmay result in fire, injury and burns.Avoid placing the product in unstable con-ditions.Failure to do so may cause injury.Stop operation immediately when some-thing is wrong with the product.When smoke goes up from the product or thesmell of smoke comes from the product, con-tinued use will result in fire.Immediately remove the battery and the bat-tery charger, and contact your dealer.8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or otherapparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plughas two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and athird grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If theprovided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of theobsolete outlet.10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, conveniencereceptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, orsold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatuscombination to avoid injury from tip-over.13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.14) Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
