28EXTENDED FUNCTIONS Selector Switch 10 (SIMPLE UNIFIED/INDIVIDUAL) --- Set to INDIVIDUAL upon shipment INDIVIDUAL --- This mode sets both welding current and voltage to INDIVIDUAL. SIMPLE UNIFIED --- When a welding current is selected with the output regulator onthe remote controller, the SIMPLE UNIFIED mode takes place ,wherean almost corresponding welding voltage is automatically set. Whenan optimum voltage or desired voltage has not been set, makeadjustment with the ”voltage fine control VR.”Note) For individual/simple unified output adjustment, the front and backof the scale plate on the remote controller are available. For simple unification, reverse the scale plate. When a special wire or flux cored wire is used, stable welding conditions may differ fromsimple unification conditions depending on wire types or brands, and may not be adjusted withina range of welding voltage fine adjustment. In this case, switching to "INDIVIDUAL" allows optional setting of the welding voltage towiden an adjustment width. Selector Switch 11 (FTT Control Enable/Disable) --- Set to "DISABLE" upon shipment DISABLE ….. Does not provide FTT control. ENABLE …… Provides FTT control. (Refer to page 49)enable : ON disable : OFF Selector Switch 12 (60 Hz/50 Hz) 60Hz …… Select 60 Hz when using in a 60 Hz district. 50Hz ….. Select 50 Hz when using in a 50 Hz district. Connector 9(CN9): Current Detection Contact Terminal A portion between the two pins or the connector 9(CN9) is connected to a relay'sever-open contact(contact-a) on the printed circuit board. When it is confirmed that the welding current has flowed (current detection), thecontact is closed and kept closed while the welding current is flowing. When providing external control with this current detection contact, cut a loop-shapedvinyl wire above the connector and use those two wires as lead-out wires. A relay contact capacity is 30 V DC. 2 A or 125 V AC. 0.5 A, depending on resistanceload conditions. The circuit should be configured so that this allowable current valuewill not be exceeded in use.APPLICATIONSTips
