36OTHER TROUBLE AND ERROESWhen you have a trouble or error other than those mentioned in INITIAL TROUSLE DIAGNOSIS,determine which one of the following categories it belongs to. Following a relevant flow chart,make an appropriate check. When the WARN. indicator lamp goes on A When the Warn. indicator lamp goes on because the service factor or output current exceedsa rated value, turn off the torch switch, turn on the POWER switch (the cooling fan isrunning), and then, wait. (The machine is not automatically reset unless the torch switchis turned off.) Even if the Warn. indicator lamp goes off automatically, do not restart weldingimmediately.Instead, keep running the cooling fan for about another 20 minutes to fully cool down insidethe welding power unit. When you restart welding, be sure to lower the welding conditions (shorten the weldingtime or lower the output current). When the Warn. indicator lamp goes on repeatedly, stop using the machine.It would lower insulation of internal parts or shorten their lives, resulting in a troubleor burn-out or the equipment, never use the machine in a manner which may turn on the Warn.Indicator lamp repeatedly.The number [14] behind the POWER switch or [22] behind the power Indicator lamp are thoseshown in parts LAYOUT drawing on Page 40 and 41.When the POWER switch[14] is turned on, doesthe cooling fan start?
