Monitoring the Unit4-8 February 2001 8700-A2-GB25-10Viewing Network Performance StatisticsNetwork performance statistics allow you to monitor the current status of thenetwork DSL operations. To view Network Performance Statistics for a port, follow this menu selectionsequence:Main Menu→Status→Performance Statistics→Network Performance StatisticsThe following Network Performance Statistics are collected for the selected port: Mrgn: Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) Margin is the difference of the SNR,measured every 10 seconds, and a set SNR reference value. The acceptablerange for SNR Margin is 0 and above. However, it may be practical to toleratevalues below 0 on bad lines or longer reaches. XmtPw: The transmit power level. The maximum level is 15 dBm. RxGn: The receiver gain level. This is the amount the unit must boost thereceive signal. It is not a receive level measurement. Complete: Whether the interval register contains data for all 900 seconds ofthe interval.main/status/performance/net_perf HotwireSlot: 4: Model: 87x5Port: 3 NETWORK PERFORMANCE STATISTICSCurrent Interval Timer: 002 DSL Line Rate: 2048 kbps----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mrgn-- --XmtPw- --RxGn-- -Complete-Near Far Near Far Near Far Near FarCurrent Int: +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes YesInterval 01 +02 +03 +02 Yes NoInterval 02 +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes YesInterval 03 +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes YesInterval 04 +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes YesInterval 05 +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes YesInterval 06 +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes YesInterval 07 +02 +01 +03 +03 +02 +02 Yes Yes--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Ctrl-a to access these functions, ESC for previous menu MainMenu ExitPgUp PgDn ClrNear ClrFar
