Cue Mode – Sets the function of the channelCue buttons.• Cue (Default)– Touching a channel cue buttoncauses the channel’s signal to be heard in the Cueheadphones. The audio signal is otherwise unaffected.• SIP (Solo In Place) – Input Cue buttons change color(orange) and are labeled SIP. Touching a channel’sSIP button causes all other inputs to mute. Cuecontinues to function normally for outputs. SIP is avery useful setup function but can produce unwantedresults if left on during performance.2. Cue Pickoff – Determines if the Cue signal is derivedpre or post-fader.• PFL (Pre-Fader Listen)• AFL (After-Fader Listen)3. Sample Rate – Selects the sample frequency (bitrate) for the mixer. Most relevant for recording.Typically, 44100 is used for audio CD, and 48000 foraudio with video.4. Dynamics Processing (global) – Determineswhether all input channel gates and compressors arecontrolled by a pre or post EQ signal.5. Demo Mode and Confirm Mute• Demo Mode (Mixer only) – The mixer is set atthe factory to display a slide show of features until the screen is touched. This control turns the demo on/off.• Confirm Mute on Master (tablets only) – By default, muting a master output (Main or Aux bus) requires a confirmation. This switcheliminates the confirmation step.6. Omit Levels on Paste Overview – Provides an option to omit all level settings when pasting to an overview screen.7. Display Brightness – Controls the brightness of the LCD screen and illuminated buttons.8. Monitor Source switch –• Cue – When the Source switch is in the Cue position (left, black), the Cue system is signal source for the Monitor output.• Main L/R button – When the Source switch is not in the Cue position (right, blue), the Main L/R output or any one of the 14 Aux outputsmay be selected as the source for the monitor. To change the source, touch the button and use the Master encoder or the on a tablet.NOTE!: The Source switch must be set “on” for the source selection to take effect.9. Delay – The delay is used to align the audio coming from a distant stage with the headphone or near-field monitor signal heard at the mixposition. Touch the In button to engage the Delay.10. External Recording & Playback Mode – Also accessible from the Record screen. Selects one of three modes.• Stereo MP3 – Enables an MP3 audio player. Push Rec/Play to access the controls.• Multitrack USB Drive – Enables 32 track, direct to USB drive recording.• Multitrack DA – Enables 32 x 32 channel connection to computers (OS X) that support Core Audio.11. Network Setup – Navigates to the Network Setup screen.12. End User Agreement – Displays the End User License Agreement for your reading pleasure.13. Save System Log to USB – Writes a file to USB that may be useful in software troubleshooting.14. Clear Storage – Deletes all user-defined presets and scenes from the mixer. Does not delete presets or scenes stored on a USB device.15. Reset Mixer – Resets all mixer controls to factory default. This does not erase any user presets on the mixer or on a USB drive.16. Software Version Label – Displays the version number of the currently installed firmware.17. Upgrade – Begins the process of upgrading mixer software.
