Baffle Removal1. Remove all ash from the firebox, and extinguish all hotembers before disposal into a metal container.2. The baffle board has 2 pieces. With the ceramic blanketstill in place, slide one baffle piece over the top of other onebut still keep it all components inside the firebox. Figure22.1.3. It is easier to remove both baffle boards and ceramicblanket after the tube channel assembly has been partiallydisassembled. Follow steps 1 through 4 on page 23 forremoval of the tube channel assembly. It is not necessaryto completely remove the tube channel assembly.4. Re-install in reverse order. Be sure the baffle boardsand ceramic blanket are in their proper positions. Figure22.2.D. Door Handle Assembly1. Install washer on door handle shaft.2. Slide door handle through door.3. Install second washer(s) as shown in Figure 22.3.4. Install key in groove.5. Align groove in latch cam with key; slide latch cam overshaft6. Install locknut but do not overtighten, the handle needsto move smoothly.7. Install handle turning in a counter-clockwise motion todesired location on door handle rod. Figure 22.3.CAUTION!
