Do not use theblade as a lever.Operation on Slopes• Start on the low side of a slope, and work upward. This willreduce your risk of slipping and falling, and it will give youa cutting angle that will better enable you to direct debrisaway from you.• Do not let the cutting line or blade dig into the slope, becausethat can cause stones and dirt to be thrown at you.• Do not raise the cutting attachment above waist level duringoperation, because that would increase the risk of thrownobjects striking your face.• Avoid steep slopes that would require holding the cuttingattachment above waist level. Avoid slippery slopes thatmight cause you to lose your balance.ASSEMBLY1. Fit the shoulder strap to the machine. (A)2. Assemble the handle on the machine (B) . First release theinner hex screws (C), then take right and left handle on thecentre of the handle holder (D). Assemble the handleholder and tighten the inner screws.3. Assemble the safety guard. Release the four nuts on sfaetyguard bracket (E). Ensure the nut is well tightened(F).ABCDEF4. Release the nut. Line up the two holes of flange and shield.Use screwdriver to hold the flange and turn the socketwrench clockwise (G). The nut will be released.G
