OPERATION2-152.5 Alarm SignalsDuring each measurement period, the gas concentration iscompared with the programmed alarm limits (gasconcentration alarm limit settings: Low, High, TWA andSTEL). If the concentration exceeds any of the presetlimits, the loud buzzer and red flashing LED are activatedimmediately to warn the user of the alarm condition. In addition, the MiniRAE 2000 will alarm if one of thefollowing conditions occurs: battery voltage falls below apre-set voltage level (4.4 V), failure of UV lamp, pumpstall, or when the datalog memory is full. When the lowbattery alarm occurs, there will be approximately 20-30minutes of operating time remaining. When the batteryvoltage falls below 4.2 V, the monitor will turn offautomatically.Alarm Signal Summary:Condition Alarm SignalGas exceeds “High Alarm”limit3 beeps/flashes per secondGas exceeds “Low Alarm”limit2 beeps/flashes per secondGas exceeds “TWA” limit 1 Beeps/flashes per secondsGas exceeds “STEL” limit 1 Beeps/flashes per secondsPump failure 3 beeps/flashes per second plus“Pump” message on LCDPID lamp failure 3 beeps/flashes per second plus“Lamp” message on LCDLow battery 1 flash per second, 1 beep per minuteplus “Bat” message on LCDMemory full 1 flash per second plus “Mem”message on LCD
