Maintenance 31Li-Ion Battery PackThe factory supplied Li-Ion battery pack is designed to last for 10hours of normal operation (without alarm or backlight conditions).Therechargeable batteries have a 1-year warranty. Age, ambienttemperature, and heavy useage may impact battery life. Battery packswill slowly drain even if the monitor is turned off. If the battery packshave not been charged for 10 days, the battery voltage will be low. Itis recommended to fully charge the battery packs before going into thefield, and recharge the battery pack upon returning from the field.To reduce the risk of ignition of hazardous atmospheres, rechargebattery only in areas known to be non-hazardous. Remove and replacebattery only in areas known to be non-hazardous.
