U32SE-5 FPI Direct Vent Gas Insert 19INSTALLATION4) Remove DFC (digital firebox control box) from the fl oor of the unit.5) Disconnect wire harness, ground wire and spark wire from DFC.1) Shut off the gas supply and disconnect all power to the unit.2) Remove the louvers, bay door or faceplate, if installed.3) Disconnect battery pack - located on the floor of the unit, as shownbelow.Do not use battery pack with receiver.6) Locate green and white ON/OFF wires.Connect the TPTH and TH wires - green to green and white towhite as shown below.7) Plug in receiver DC supply wire to the DFC supply as shown belowRemove the hi/lo knob by removing 2 screws as shown below.Be sure to remove diaphram and spring - discard both.8) Install the stepper motor in the same location the hi/lo knob wasremoved from - with 2 screws as shown below.9) Connect stepper motor wire to the lead marked motor.TPTH THGTM REMOTE INSTALLATION
