22 ENGLISHCLEANING AND MAINTENANCEDaily cleaning of the machineCaution:Timely cleaning and maintenance of your machine is very importantas it prolongs the life of your machine. Your machine gets exposed tomoist, coffee and lime scale continuously!In this chapter it is described in detail which activities you need toperform at which frequency. Not doing this will ultimately make yourmachine stop working properly. This repair is NOT covered by yourwarranty!Note:- Use a soft, dampened cloth to clean the machine.- Do not wash any of its parts in the dishwasher.- Do not immerse the machine in water- Do not use alcohol, solvents, and/or abrasive objects to clean themachine.- Do not dry the machine and/or its components using a microwaveand/or standard oven.1 Empty and clean the coffee ground drawer daily with the machineturned on.Other maintenance operations can only be carried out when the machineis turned off and unplugged.2 Empty and clean the drip tray. Perform this operation also when thefull drip tray indicator is raised. |
