6 INSTALLATION / PRIMINGFill the tank with fresh water.Move the ON/OFF switch to“I” to turn on the machine.The display will signal thatthe machine is warmingup.Place a container underthe steam wand.Open the knob to prime themachine.Wait until a steady streamof water flows out from thewand.The machine is ready foruse.Fill the coffee bean con-tainer with coffee beans.Remove the drip tray fromthe box and put in place onthe machine.Insert the plug into a sui-table outlet.Close the knob to stop theflow of water. Remove thecontainer.See rating platePress the hot water button.HOT WATERWARMING UP...RINSINGWARMING UP...SELECT PRODUCTREADY FOR USEHOT WATERWARMING UP...Press the hot water buttonagain to turn off the hot waterfeature. Wait for machine toreach coffee temperature.Note: Prime the machineduring initial set up, if themachine has not beenused for several days, afterrefilling the water tank, orany time the display reads“VENTILATE”.The messages displayed by the machine during operation are shownon page 18.The “Aqua Prima” filter canbe installed (see pg.11).Allow to soak for 30 minutesprior to first use.Important warning for using the “Aqua Prima Filter” can be found atpage 18.
