11EnglishInstallation ProcedureStep 8 Performing the gas leak testTo identify potential gas leaks on the indoor unit, inspectthe connection area of each refrigerant pipe using a leakdetector for R-410A.Before recreating the vacuum and recirculating therefrigerant gas, pressurize the whole system withnitrogen (using a cylinder with a pressure reducer) at apressure above 0.2 MPa, less than 4 MPa (gauge) in orderto immediately detect leaks on the refrigerant fittings.Made vacuum for 15 minutes and pressurizing systemwith nitrogen.Liquid sideGas sideInsulatorStep 9 Insulating the refrigerant pipesOnce you have checked that there are no leaks in thesystem, you can insulate the piping and hose.1 To avoid condensation problems, place AcrylonitrileButadien Rubber separately around each refrigerant pipe.No gapNBRNOTE• Always make the seam of pipes face upwards.CAUTION• The insulation has to be produced in full compliancewirh European regulation EEC / EU 2037 / 2000requiring the use of sheaths insulation without usingCFC and HCFC gases for health and the environment.2 Wind insulating tape around the pipes and drain hoseavoiding compressing the insulation too much.Insulation cover pipeInsulation pipeBe sure to overlap the insulation.Indoor unitCAUTION• Be sure to wrap insulation tightly without any gaps.3 Finish wrapping insulating tape around the rest of thepipes leading to the outdoor unit.4 The pipes and electrical cables connecting the indoorunit with the outdoor unit must be fixed to the wallwith suitable ducts.CAUTION• Must fit tightly against body without any gap.• Make sure that all refrigerant connection must beaccessible for easy maintenance and detachment.• Install the insulation not to get wider and use theadhesives on the connection part of it to prevent moisturefrom entering.• Wind the refrigerant pipe with insulation tape if it isexposed to outside sunlight.• Install the refrigerant pipe respecting that the insulationdoes not get thinner on the bent part or hanger of pipe.• Add the additional insulation if the insulation plate getsthinner.a x 3HangerAdditional insulationa Refrigerant pipeinsulation
