Salt, vibration or other environmental factormay cause the product malfunction, electric shock or fire.• Our units should be installed in compliance with the spacesshown in the installation manual, to ensure accessibilityfrom both sides and allow repairs or maintenanceoperations to be carried out. The unit’s components shouldbe accessible and easy to disassemble without endangeringpeople and objects. For this reason, when provisions of the installation manualare not complied with, the cost required to access andrepair the units (in SAFETY CONDITIONS, as set out inprevailing regulations) with harnesses, ladders, scaffoldingor any other elevation system will NOT be considered partof the warranty and will be charged to the end customer.Power supply line, fuse or circuitbreakerWARNING• Always make sure that the power supply is compliantwith current safety standards. Always install the airconditioner in compliance with current local safetystandards.• Always verify that a suitable grounding connection isavailable.• Verify that the voltage and frequency of the powersupply comply with the specifications and that theinstalled power is sufficient to ensure the operation ofany other domestic appliance connected to the sameelectric lines.• Always verify that the cut-off and protection switchesare suitably dimensioned.• Verify that the air conditioner is connected to the powersupply in accordance with the instructions provided inthe wiring diagram included in the manual.• Always verify that electric connections (cable entry, section of leads, protections…) are compliant withthe electric specifications and with the instructionsprovided in the wiring scheme. Always verify that allconnections comply with the standards applicable tothe installation of air conditioners.• Devices disconnected from the power supply should becompletely disconnected in the condition of overvoltagecategory.• Be sure not to perform power cable modification, extension wiring, and multiple wire connection. ࣞIt may cause electric shock or fire due to poorconnection, poor insulation, or current limit override. ࣞWhen extension wiring is required due to power linedamage, refer to Step 13 Optional: Extending thepower cable in the installation manual.CAUTIONMake sure that you earth the cables.• Do not connect the earth wire to the gas pipe, water pipe, lighting rod or telephone wire.
