SAMSUNG General DescriptionDCS-816 March 19994 - 5users either dial the access code or press the assigned feature keyfollowed by the pickup group number. You can pick up not only incomingand intercom call, but also hold recalling call if allowed.Call Waiting/Camp–OnBusy stations are notified that a call is waiting (camped–on) when they receive atone. The tone will be repeated at a programmable interval. Keysets receive anoff–hook ring signal through the speaker and single line stations receive a tonein the handset. The volume of the camp–on tone can be set by the station user.Camped–on calls will follow Forward No Answer if a Forward No Answerdestination has been set.Chain DiallingStation users may manually dial additional digits following a speed dial call orchain together as many speed dial numbers as are required.Class of ServiceThe system allows a maximum of 10 station classes of service. Each class ofservice can be customised in memory to allow or deny access to features and todefine a station's dialling class. Each station can be assigned different classesof service for day and night operation.CLIP (Calling Line Identification Presentation)The CLIP feature is dependent on having an LCD keyset to show the name ornumber in the top line of the display.z Name/Number DisplayEach LCD keyset user can decide if he/she wants to see the CLIP name orCLIP number in the display. Regardless of which one is selected to beseen first, the NND key is pressed to view the other pieces of CLIPinformation.z Next CallIn the event that you have a call waiting or a camped–on call at yourkeyset, you can press the NEXT key to display the CLIP informationassociated with this next call in queue at your station. Either the CLIPname or CLIP number will show in the display depending on your NNDselection.z Save CLIP NumberAt any time during an incoming call that provides CLIP information, youmay press the SAVE key. This saves the CLIP number in the SaveNumber feature. Pressing the SAVE number redial key will dial the CLIPnumber.z Store CLIP NumberAt any time during an incoming call that provides CLIP information, youmay press the STORE key. This save the CLIP numbers as a speed dialnumber in your personal speed dial list.
