When the ring mode is selected, keysetusers can choose one of eight distinct ring tones. Forced Auto Answer isinvoked by the calling station and is controlled by the calling station's class ofservice.Ringing PreferenceLifting the handset or pressing the ANS/RLS key automatically answers a callringing at the keyset. Using this method, users are assured of answering theoldest call first. When ringing preference is turned off, the user must press theflashing key to answer. Users may answer ringing lines in any order by pressingthe flashing key.SpeakerphoneAll keysets have a built–in speakerphone. This speakerphone enables calls tobe made and received without the use of the handset.Station LockWith a programmable personal station passcode, any keyset can be locked andunlocked or only outside call. A locked keyset cannot be used to make orreceive calls.Tri–Coloured LightsLCD 24B and STD 24B keysets have 16 keys equipped for tri–coloured LEDindications (green, red and amber). LCD 12B and STD 12B models have eightof these keys. To avoid confusion, your calls always light green; other calls showred and recalls show amber.Volume SettingsEach keyset may separately adjust the volume of the ringer, speaker, handsetreceiver, background music, page announcement and off–hook ring tone.Wall–Mountable KeysetsEvery keyset comes equipped with a reversible base wedge that can be utilisedas a wall–mount bracket.
