The likelihood of the fingerprintsensor confusing even small areas of two differentfingerprints is very low. But in rare cases, thesensor may recognize a fingerprint that is similarto a registered fingerprint.Register a FingerprintYou can register up to three fingerprints. A passwordis also set up as an alternative to your fingerprint.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings> Device.2. Tap Finger Scanner > Fingerprint manager.3. Swipe your finger over the Home key to registeryour first fingerprint or to continue to the nextscreen.Add a FingerprintIf no fingerprints are registered, the managerautomatically opens the Register fingerprint screen.Otherwise:► Tap Add fingerprint and follow the promptsto register a fingerprint and password.Rename a FingerprintTo rename a fingerprint:► Touch and hold the fingerprint, and then tapEdit.Delete a FingerprintTo delete a fingerprint:► Touch and hold the fingerprint, and then tapDelete.Change Backup PasswordTo change the backup password:1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings> Device.2. Tap Finger Scanner > Change backuppassword.3. Scan your fingerprint.4. Enter a new backup password.
