Getting StartedCharge the BatteryYour device is powered by a rechargeable, standardLi-Ion battery. A Wall/USB Charger (charging headand USB cable) is included with the device forcharging the battery from any standard outlet.The battery comes partially charged. A fullydischarged battery requires up to four hours ofcharge time. You can use the device while charging.Caution: Use only Samsung-approved chargingdevices and batteries. Samsung accessories aredesigned to maximize battery life. Using otheraccessories may invalidate your warranty and maycause damage.Note: For fastest charging times, use theAdaptive Fast Charging charger that came withyour phone. This charger provides faster chargingonly when connected to devices that have AdaptiveFast Charging.Caution: Failure to unplug the wall charger before youremove the battery can cause damage to the device.1. Insert the USB cable into the port.2. Connect the USB cable to the charging head,and then plug the charging head into a standardoutlet.3. When charging is complete, unplug the charginghead from the outlet and remove the USB cablefrom the device.When to Charge the BatteryWhen the battery is low and only a few minutes ofoperation remain, the device sounds a warning toneat regular intervals.In this condition, your device conserves itsremaining battery power by dimming the screen.When the battery level becomes too low, the deviceautomatically turns off.► For a quick check of your battery level, viewthe battery charge indicator located in theupper-right corner of your device’s display.
