85 Tethering and Mobile HotspotSettingsChange the Mobile Hotspot Password1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings > CONNECTIONS > Tethering andMobile Hotspot > Mobile Hotspot.2. Tap ON/OFF to turn on Mobile Hotspot.3. Tap More options > Configure hotspot.4. Tap the Security field and select WPA2 PSK.5. Scroll down and enter a new password in thePassword field.Configure Mobile Hotspot SettingsManage your Mobile Hotspot security andconnecting settings.1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >Settings > CONNECTIONS > Tethering andMobile Hotspot > Mobile Hotspot.2. Tap More options > Configure hotspot:• Network SSID: View and change the name ofyour Mobile Hotspot.• Hide my device: Make your Mobile Hotspotinvisible to other Wi-Fi devices during a scan.Other devices can still connect to your MobileHotspot, but have to set up the connectionmanually with your Network SSID andPassword.• Security: Choose the security level for yourMobile Hotspot.- Scroll down to view all options.• Password: If you choose a security level thatuses a password, enter the password. Bydefault, the password is your device’s phonenumber.• Show password: Display your passwordinstead of masking it.• Show advanced options: Access advancedoptions, including Broadcast channel, andto specify the channel your device uses forMobile Hotspot.Turn Off Mobile Hotspot AutomaticallySet your device to automatically turn off PortableWi-Fi hotspot if there are no connected device.1.
