These are applications that were notproperly closed or shutdown and are still active butminimized. The Task Manager not only lets you seewhich of these applications are still active in thebackground but also easily lets you choose whichapplications to leave running and which to close.To shutdown a current application:1. Press and hold .2. Tap Task Manager. This screen contains thefollowing tabs: Active applications display those currently activeapplications running on your device. Package displays any installed packages orapplications from the Market that are taking upmemory space. Tap Uninstall to remove themfrom your device. RAM manager, which displays the amount ofcurrent RAM (Random Access Memory) currentlybeing used and allow you to Clear Memory foreither Level 1 or Level 2 (both Level memorylocations). Summary displays a visual graph indicating theavailable and used space within the RandomAccess Memory (RAM), Program, and External SDcard. Help provides additional battery savingtechniques.3.
