1A. Setting Up Service 5Setting Up ServiceActivating Your Device If you purchased your device at a Sprint Store, it isprobably activated and ready to use. If you received your device in the mail and it is for a newSprint account or a new line of service, it is designed toactivate automatically. To confirm your activation,make a phone call. If you received your device in the mail and you areactivating a new device for an existing number on youraccount, (you’re swapping phones), you can activateon your computer online or directly on your phone. Activate on your computer:● Go to sprint.com/activate and follow theinstructions. Activate on your phone:1. Turn on your new phone. (Make sure the old one isturned off.) Your phone will automatically attemptHands-Free Activation.2. Tap Activate to override auto-activation and startthe manual activation wizard.3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete theactivation process.4. After you have completed the wizard, make aphone call to confirm your activation.If your device is still not activated or you do not haveaccess to the Internet, contact Sprint CustomerService at 1-888-211-4727 for assistance.Important: For security reasons, you will need your Sprintphone number and PIN to use this activationmethod.Note: Your phone will need to complete one hands-freeactivation attempt before you can continue.Note: If you don’t override Hands-Free Activation, your phonewill attempt to auto activate five times. Wait for Retry toappear on your screen.
