Shutter Priority, Manual,Beauty Shot, Portrait, Children, Beach & Snow NormalThis mode detects the face of the subject automatically and thensets the focus and exposure. Select this mode for quick and easypictures of faces.1. The size and position of the auto focusframe is set around the face of thesubject automatically.2. Press the shutter button halfway.The focus frame turns to green whenthe focus is activated.3. Press the shutter button fully to take apicture. This function can detect up to 10 people. When the camera recognizes many people at the same time,it will focus on the nearest person. You can not activate Digital zoom when [Face Detection] is on. When the camera detects a target face, the white color focusframe is displayed over the target face and the grey colorfocus frame appears over the remaining faces.Press the shutter button halfway down to focus on the faceand the white focus frame turns green. Return to previous AF mode if face detection was failure. Under the following conditions, this function cannot workproperly.- When a person wears dark glasses or some part of the faceis hidden.- When the person being taken does not look at the camera.- If the face is too dark or too brightly lit.- If the distance between the camera and object is too far. The maximum available Face Detection range is 2 m or aboutXX feet (Wide). The nearer the subject, the faster the camera can recognizethe subject’s face.
