59Adjusting the ISO sensitivityThe ISO sensitivity, as the film sensitivity establishedby the international standards organization (ISO),represents the degree of reaction when camerareceives light. Since it reacts more sensitively withgreater ISO value, a natural shot can be obtained in adark place by raising the ISO value. This reduces thedegree of camera shaking with faster shutter speed.1 In the Shooting mode, [MENU].2 Select Shooting 1 ( 1) ISOan option.Taking a picture in a dark place• The higher the ISO speed you select, the morevisual noise you may get.• When the noise reduction function is used, thenoise caused by the high-sensitive ISO(3200)can be reduced.• The available ISO setting options may differdepending on the Shooting mode.• You can set the ISO directly by pressing [ISO] inthe Shooting mode.
