Navigation keys: This key allows you to scroll throughphone menu options and provides a shortcut to phonefunctions from standby mode.3. Soft key (left): Performs the functions indicated by thescreen text on the bottom of the display.4. Voice Recognition key: Launches the VoiceRecognition application.5. Send key: Place or receive a call. In standby mode,press the key once to access the Recent Call log. If youpress and hold the key down, you initiate the mostrecent call from the Recent Call log. If the phone is off,press and hold this key to turn the phone on.6. Voice Mail key: Press and hold to automaticallydial your voicemail.7. Microphone: Allows callers to hear you clearly whenyou are speaking to them.8. Special Function keys: Asterisk/Shift key-enters the [* ]character for calling features. In text mode, press tochange the character input type. Pound/Space key-enters the pound [#] character for calling features. Intext entry mode, press to enter a space betweencharacters.Press and hold to activate/deactivate the Silentprofile. Press and hold to enter a pause betweennumbers.9. Alphanumeric keypad: Use these keys to enternumbers, letters and some special characters. When inIdle mode, press and hold to access yourvoicemail server or press and hold to enter anInternational call prefix.10. Clear key: Deletes characters from the display whenyou are in text entry mode. Deletes items when in anapplication. When in a main menu, press to return to theprevious menu.
